Product Overview
The Electrolytic Copper Special Crane is a dedicated lifting solution designed specifically for the production process of electrolytic copper. Its primary functions include picking up pre-arranged anode and cathode plates from the spacing machine, transporting them to empty cells, and installing them into the electrolytic tanks (cell loading). After electrolysis is completed, the cathode plates are removed and transferred to the washing unit; meanwhile, the spent anode plates (residual anodes) are also taken out from the electrolytic cells and sent to the washing unit.

Crane Configuration
The crane consists of an electrical control system, trolley, bridge traveling mechanism, bridge frame, and other components. The trolley is composed of a hoisting mechanism, trolley traveling mechanism, trolley frame, outer frame, movable operator’s cab, liquid receiving pan mechanism, and spreader. The spreader itself comprises a fixed guide frame, a movable guide frame, anode/cathode lifting beams, and an arrangement comb.
Control & Positioning Systems
The hoisting, trolley, and bridge traveling motions are all controlled by variable-frequency speed regulation. The entire crane is governed by a Siemens S1500 series PLC, which communicates with the drives via PROFINET. A touch screen is installed in the cab to display real-time status and fault diagnostics for the whole machine. Laser distance measurement is adopted for positioning of both trolley and bridge, achieving a positioning accuracy of ±10 mm.
Reliability & Acceptance
This crane has proven itself in actual operation with excellent performance and reliable service, and has received positive feedback from users worldwide.
