The LB crane retains the proven single‑girder structure of the LD series while incorporating comprehensive explosion‑proof measures. All electrical components, including motors, limit switches, and control devices, are designed to meet flameproof enclosure requirements (Ex d), ensuring that any internal ignition is contained and cannot ignite the surrounding atmosphere. The hoisting mechanism uses HB (BCD) or HBS (BMD) explosion‑proof wire rope electric hoists, which are specially manufactured with spark‑resistant materials and enclosed braking systems. The bridge travel is driven by explosion‑proof conical rotor motors with integral brakes. The crane offers rated capacities from 1 to 16 tonnes, spans from 7.5 to 22.5 metres, and duty classes from A3 to A5, covering light to medium‑heavy service. It operates in ambient temperatures between –25 ℃ and +40 ℃, with an explosion‑proof classification of ExdⅡBT4 (suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas with T4 temperature class). Control can be via floor pendant, cabin, or wireless remote, providing flexibility to suit different operating preferences. The LB crane is widely used in chemical plants, oil refineries, paint shops, and other locations with explosive atmospheres, but is not intended for corrosive or molten metal applications.
