The upper rotating rail-mounted container gantry crane is a dedicated container handling machine for railway freight stations and container yards, performing loading, unloading, stacking, and transfer of intermodal containers. Rated capacity 40.5t.
The crane features an upper rotating trolley with a slewing mechanism mounted on top, enabling horizontal rotation of the container for precise alignment and positioning. An automatic telescopic spreader handles both 20 ft and 40 ft containers. The crane travels on rails with a span covering the operating range across railway lines. The electrical system uses variable-frequency drive and is integrated with a container management information system.
